I opened the missions editor and picked new then went to pick things like Ocean, Dovernight, Pacific, Rhineland winter, Midway, (basically any add-on ones) ... I have the Bavaria terrain but it says the error too yet the somme one opens.

OK...easy one this!

I would guess you have downloaded the WW1 pack or another add-on that updated the Mission Editor's property files. This isn't going to affect the mission editor, and saves you having to update it when/if you download a new terrain.

You can only actually create a mission if you have the SM file for the terrain that shows up inthe editor. If you haven't got it, you get the message you saw.

DON'T WORRY!

Just choose another terrain, or search out and download the terrain if you want to fly on it

If you are getting the error an a terrain you HAVE downloaded, check in your folders under the mission editor. There is a small 'SM' file that the mission editor displays which needs to be in place.

Look in the 'missionseditor' folder, and see if you have a 'bavaria' folder in it. There should be an SM in there, and a 'textures' folder with all the textures. It needs this as well as the 'terrain' folder bits. You can fly on a terrain without the mission editor stuff, but you will get the error message if you try and build a mission.
