Hi friends,

I receive rencently a question from a pal here in Brazil. He ask me how to improve the velocity of some plane - he is thinking about the FW series. He wants more quickly dogfights, or something else

And he had another question about the cockpit map, if I understand correctly - the map with their positions into terrain don´t correspond to the scenario flown

Any Ideas?

Thanks

KA

You could easily make the planes go faster by downloading a copy of OpenPlane studio, and increasing the opwer output of the planes...... but I really don't see why anyone would want to do this ....

If the planes are taking too long to get together to start the fight, use the mission editor to move them closer together. That way, the action will start a whole lot sooner. We did this for some of the WW1 missions ... the planes were taking AGES to get to fight, and if you got shot down online, you re-spawned miles from the action. You wouldn't believe how long it takes to fly half way across the terrain in a Fokker EIII at 90mph ....

On the map thing, that sounds odd. The planes should appear in the right places. There are options that prevent you from seeing enemy planes.... perhaps this is what he meant? Not really sure on that one!

Hope this helps

He's right WTG. The maps for some of the user made planes don't show the portion of the map your plane is on, especially in close-up mode.
