Vahn Cadet	posted 12-09- 04:38 PM i booted up mu computer this morning and it was in 640x480 16 colors.....i try to switch it back to 800x600x32 but the settings only go to 16 bit. when i try to change the current display settings, instead of switching resolutions and asking me if i want to keep those settings, it tells me i need to restart my computer. i restart and it is still 640x480 16 colors!! help!! i already tried reinstalling my detonator drivers but its a no go! der.Todesvogel Cadet	posted 12-09- 06:05 PM Your computer probably got confused about your monitor capabilities. Try shutting down, turning off the monitor, then turn back on the monitor and the computer (in that order). Then check the Monitor tab under Advanced Settings (display panel). Is the indicated monitor the correct model (i.e. Sony CPD-420GS ... or whatever you have)? Either that, or your Video Card info was nuked; time to re-install vid drivers then. IP: Logged
Commando Pilot	posted 12-10- 03:19 PM I had this too, monitor was at fault, dumped it at weekend, got 21" to replace it . To sort out if it is the monitor connect it to another computer and if the same thing happens its the monitor or the cable (try another cable). IP: Logged
