I have 3 Microsoft Joysticks. The SideWinder Precision Pro (aka "3D Pro Plus") is way better than the newer SideWinder Precision 2. My old SideWinder 3D Pro (mixed analog/digital) was decent..but the Precision Pro is much much better. I don't like USB Joysticks because mine seems to lag slighly when I move it around. My non-USB joysticks feels more solidly connected to the controls of the plane. IP: Logged |

I use the Cyborg 3D USB gold edition, not ruddel pedals, it's twist grip, but I loved it from the instant I got it, easy to use, adjustable hand grip so you can make it fit your hand better, if you don't want to pay a bundle it's a great stick, oh, the one thing I wish it had would be Force Fedback, it doesn't have that but overall very goodIP: Logged |

I use a Logitech Wingman 3Dtwist rudder job, with no FF. It works well for me, and I like the feel of it, although some people have had unpleasant experiences with this stick. Always felt good to me, and has taken a lot of flying without losign feel. ------------------ The Pilot formerly known as W.T.G. IP: Logged |

Microsoft Precision Pro works good for me. I had it for over 4 yrs without a problem. Even bought an extra one on ebay, because i feared that i had broke my original one, and no stores carried it anymore. I have a Thrustmaster "topgun" stick and a Logitech 3d digital still in there boxes, only used them once. So i stuck with the MS Pre-Pro ------------------ >>bangURdead<< IP: Logged |

I also have 2 Saitek Cyborg 3D USB gold edition's, very smooth and not over sensitive at all,the full range of movement is used in SDOE, on some sticks the plane controls do not react for the full spread. I used to use CTFL on all previous sticks but no need for CTFL at all with this one, steer clear of the non-usb version , it reacts badly with SoundBlaster live boards (as due a few other things too).IP: Logged |
