I now have the $$$ to finally upgrade to a decent high performance vid card like a GF3 of sorts. I've heard a rumour that ASUS Video Cards and SDOE are not very compatible? Can anybody clarify this for me? Are there any others that I should be sus about? Also I've read that a whole new generation of GeForce3 "Titanium" series cards have hit the market. Is anybody out there currently using one with sdoe and if so how good is it compared to the pre-Titanium series GF3 cards?
You can check them out at the following link: http://www.extremetech.com
Go to the Graphics Cards page and see for yourself. They are currently price at approx US$349.00 (seen them online for about US$308.00)which is about AUD$700.00 for me..GULP. Still, now that I have a dosh finally (after months of saving up I was about to blow it all on a GF2 Ultra or a std GF3 until a mate put me onto the Ti series) I'd like to get one but I haven't seen them released here in Oz yet and I suspect that when they are a lot of suppliers of existing GF2 & GF3 'standard' cards will be having fire sales to get rid of these 'older' generartion cards to make way for the new GeForce3 Ti Series cards.
Just helps a lot if I can get some feedback on how they run with Sdoe in particular.
Thx
