What do I need to be able to have the night missions actually be "night"? Beyond the game, the original 1.5 patch and patch 1.5.2.9 - what am I missing? Where am I to go - what am I to do?

Hello, Once you have correctly installed the 1.5.2.9 patch you will be able to fly and create night missions. To create a night mission you need to open the mission editor located in your 2.9 patch folder, not the 1.5 folder. Then under environment settings in the mission editor you can adjust the light values. You can make night missions and Sunrise or Dusk as well. So the key to getting night missions is to properly install the 2.9 patch. If you have not installed the 2.9 patch yet, go to Archers website here http://www.geocities.com/archersweb/sdoeinstall.htm and follow the directions to the letter. Hope this helps.
