Ok question,
Dont know if this has been answered already, but i have not the time to search such a huge database of info these days for the answer.
But why can i not use any aircraft i want? I mean there are a bunch of american planes, but why can i only use the P-51D or the P-38 Lightning as the default aircraft? I would love to use the P-47 or the ass kickin corsair! Is there a way to change the default aircraft,or should i just create my own missions.

Your not talking about IL2 demo are you?

I can't think of any reason at all why you should be able to select other aircraft in missions... you do know that you can select different squadrons in a mission don't you? thereby using a different aircraft.. use the Squadrons drag box when you select which mission you want, it's the one above the map image.

If it's a user made mission, you can edit it with the Mission Editor and change aircraft as well. I find most of 'em need editing anyway due to mismatched country to aircraft errors. Or due to me not having a particular aircraft. Quick edit and off I go.

Ok,
When i select a country of my choice, whether it be USA,Britian,Germany, I just get the default squadrons.
USA-Screamin Demons
Britian-101 squad
Germany-JG1 Squad

What am i not doing?, do i have to creat a new pilot to give me more options? I also noticed that i have the countries Italy,,Japan,,Soviet Union, France and Australia.
I have plane pak 6.1 or whatever, but i didnt install the patch (1.5.2.9).

That's what I did. Created more pilots. You'll get the radio in their language just like you get the German pilot in German. And don't worry about how odd the Aussie sounds. It's funny.

where the squadron name is listed, have you tried scrolling down it and selecting a different squadron? these usualy use different aircraft depending on the mission, but there are others in there, just open the dragdown box and select one (this is on the screen that comes after you select a mission and contains the mission briefing
