Hey all,
i was wondering if it's possible to change the color or brightness of tracer fire and bullet color? Has it been done?, if so how or where do i do it

In fact the tracer is mapped, the texture is a 16*16 TIF file:
C:\Program Files\Fighter Squadron\Media\effects\textures\tracer.tif

The WWI pack, for example, replaces this file with a better colour than the original plain orange.

Thanks Pachy. I like all those little tricks.

I did a few little fun tests using PSP 7.0s default gradiants in a 16x16 square some wild pinks and bleues. there. And a green like the one I think I saw in IL2(?)

Go to Tailslide's website and download the high visibility tracers,. You get a choice of using, yellow, orange, white, red and I think green (For Christmas ).

Hey- I know, come Christmas time lets paint a plane in red with gold & green trim, put reindeer nose art on it, and have it shoot red & white striped (aka candy cane) colored tracers
