Alpha textures at night (trees, glass, clouds, etc.). Anything we can do about them "glowing" at night? Changing the ambient and infinite light settings and/or the cloud and fog color seems to have no effect on any transparent TIFs. Is this being addressed in the patch or should I put together a couple of ZIP files, one containing the default "day" transparent TIFs, and one containing darkened (a la Dover Night) "night" transparent TIFs so I can switch between them relatively easily by unzipping the appropriate set into the media folder as desired? If I have to do this, could someone easily list the files I would need to modify?------------------ Be seeing you, 3dp Visit RAF Harkness! IP: Logged |

OK, I read it but I didn't understand it!So is it a simple modification to certain (all?) SM files? If it is, is it being done to all new planes (for the cockpits, etc.)? Is there a set of modified SM files for the terrains which I can download somewhere? If I'm totally off the mark, please correct me, I want to fix this. ------------------ Be seeing you, 3dp Visit RAF Harkness! IP: Logged |

This is more of a curiosity question than anything else, but why doesn't Glide suffer from the towns staying lit like the other renders do (so far as I can tell). Presumably, Direct X and OpenGL do suffer from the alpha teture thing I desribed above (clouds, smoke, etc. being too bright at night).------------------ Be seeing you, 3dp Visit RAF Harkness!
