blkredz28 Cadet	posted 08-06- 01:03 PM Has anyone had problems with the newiest ver of the mission editor? Everytime I make a new mission, when the load screen appears SDOE crashes. No matter what plane or terrain I use. The editor is the one that allowes you to change sky color and fog color.....etc. Does anyone have any ideas? IP: Logged
Da Jug head Pilot	posted 08-06- 02:33 PM Watch and see how far it gets down the checklist before it crashes. The item right after the last one you see checked off is what's causing the problem. blkredz28 Cadet	posted 08-06- 02:50 PM All I see is the load screen for a second or two then the desktop (SDOE crashes). The first check should be the the terrain. It does it with all terrains done with the newer ver. of the editor. please help! IP: Logged
Jeeves JAG	posted 08-06- 05:16 PM Next question is- what terrain is the mission trying to load? Despite the fact that it may be listed in the mission editor, you still have to download one of the user-made terrains. If it is Dover, Africa, or Rhineland, then there is definitely a problem...but if it is one of the others- you just might not have downloaded it yet. ------------------ Brought to you by the campaign for a better Dauntless! blkredz28 Cadet	posted 08-06- 06:35 PM Just tried it again with dover and a b17g only and sdoe still crashes with in a second of the load screen coming on. Any other ideas, hopefully w/out reloaning? IP: Logged
Diego Lozano Pilot	posted 08-06- 06:54 PM Long shot here but, did you put your "newest version" in your Fighter Squadron directory? Or is it in a seperate folder along with the latest patch? IP: Logged
