I have read in the posts that the textures in the media/sdoecache.tex & sdoecache.dir can become corrupted and this problem can be eliminated by deleting these two file. Apparently the next time your start SDOE these two files will recreate themselves. I also have read that the SDOE cache should be at least 300MBs, however, I can not figure out which file this is and the mechanics of changing the size of this file. Can someone explain this to me?
Thank you

There is a line in the sdemons.ini file "TextureCacheLimit" the game default is 524,288,000 (.5mb). If it's not there you can add it and adjust the cache size.

Don't forget, 1.5 and patch 1.5.2.9 both have their own .ini files with this line. Changing one will not change the other.

Also, deleting sdoecach.tex and sdoecache.dir only affects 1.5. To delete their equivalents in 1.5.2.9 you delete cache.tex and cache.dir. All four are found in the Media folder.

Hope this helps.
