Hello, I've never downloaded any update patches for Fighter squadron before untill a few days ago. I downloaded the plane pack which is awesome I love the Corsairs especially. But I'm having a problem with the nations pack. The nations pack was a zip file unlike the Plane pack. The plane pack installed automatically into Fighter Squadron but the Nations pack did not. When I go into fighter squadron none of the other nations are there. SO I'm guessing there is something I have to do to get the nations pack to install. I unzipped the nations pack, what do I have to do to get it installed in Fighter squadron? Thank you for your help.IP: Logged |

Yeah, its a bit daunting all these D/loads. you have to unZip Nations v2 into your 'media' dir. HBIP: Logged |

Also, if all the countries aren't showing up and you are convinced it has been installed correctly, try running your cursor over the top of the blank space in the Countries menu. There is some graphics bug that requires this...although I haven't noticed it lately, what with all the patches and things.IP: Logged |

Thanks for the help guys, I was having both problems that you mentioned. First I had unzipped the nations pack into the mission folder instead of just the media folder, so that fixed that problem. Then the nations weren't showing up, so I highlighted over the blank spots and Japan and all the other countries appeareead. So thanks for your help. Now I have one additional question. The extra countries only show up in the training missions, should those new countries also have missions in the regular missions folder?IP: Logged |

Where did you get the zip file?? The one linked at the official nations homepage which is the same copy as the one at simfiles, has a readme that includes installation instructions and "what's included" in the first few lines. Werner ------------------ Visit Abbeville Field Today! IP: Logged |
