Jeeves,

If you don't mind print, the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund (http://www.rafbfe.co.uk/) used to (and may still) offer inexpensive reproductions of a wartime series called "Pilot's and Flight Engineer's Notes" for a range of WW2 British aircraft. I have the Lancaster Mk I/III/X one. You may want to check with them to see if they still offer them and if they have the Spitfire, Typhoon, and Mosquito as well. They're pretty neat!

Ever get that book from Alibris?

Thanks Commando...

There is a lot I could get there-- but from the descriptions, there are some that seem the same but are a different price. Also-- what currency is that? Duechmarks (sp?) ?

I wonder how that equates to US dollars- or if they automatically exchange if I use a credit card?

The prices are in DM, your credit card company will do the conversion automatically , best to get their rate as it will include a hidden fee. Currently it is approx 2.8 DM to the £ .

D'oh!! Thanks a lot Pachy

I just got a book at the library on the 262 and it's procedures for take off, landing, etc. I have someone who offered to help with the Lightning and I know of one with a Mustang manual....so if I keep it up, I may not need to order any
