Guys,

Is there any way to fix a mission editor that is corrupt, short of a reinstall? I get a "This progy has performed an bla bla bla" and now will not save missions. I did this to my system trying to change the color of the sky......DOH!!!

Thanks, P

you change the sky color using notepad or wordpad, not the mission editor. Though the new beta has this added i'm not sure it works completely.

And giving the entire error message would help. 'progy', 'bla, bla, bla' Doesn't help you. There's a great deal of computer experience on this forum, but you need to provide all the error message to give us an idea of the problem.

I get this as well,i think its the next stage in the 'You have too many planes installed for your own good' bug. To get round it I use the 1.5.2.6 mission editor which does not seem to have this prob.

Install the latest patch to new directory but using the sdeamons.ini file point it to your 'Too many planes' media directory. The new missioneditor.exe then uses this media directory so you can use it to make or modify missions, just make sure you save them in the right directory.
