If i dont mistake those should be in your X:\SDoE\Media\Vehicles folder (create if needed) but i'm not sure as I didn't get them yet. Are there no readmes ?

Isn't there a readme file for them?

the jeep goes in the Fighter Squadron\Media\Vehicles folder. I'm not sure, but I think the matador goes in the same folder.

Hey Cuda!

Well, since I made these vehicles, I should help you install them. There is a readme for them, but I'll help here too:

1. Once you've downloaded the zip file, unzip it anywhere, I unzip them to my desktop.

2. Open the folder that has just been unzipped.

3. You should see a folder in there called "media". Click once to select it and click "Copy" in the windows toolbar.

4. Go to your SDOE directory and look for a "media" folder. Do not enter the SDOE media folder, just make sure you can see it. That is, if you installed SDOE to the default directory, you should go to "C:\Program Files\Fighter Squadron\". Verify that this is where you are in Windows Explorer.

5. Now, hit "Paste". You *should* get a message asking you if you'd like to overwrite the existing media folder, click "Yes to All" and you're done!

6. Do the same for any other vehicles, start SDOE, and in the case of the Jeep, visit the U.S section of the Training page. Select the Jeep, and you will have some training missions to try.

Be sure to have the engine torque effects turned OFF when using the Matador 40mm.

All my vehicles have training missions and hangar missions/info, I hope you like 'em!

BTW, just to clarify, all my drivable vehicles should go into:

"media\Aircraft\-vehicle_name_here-"

directory since they are "aircraft" class objects.

In your above post-- you have:

C:\Program Files\Fighter Squadron\Media\media\aircraft

You should only have one media folder...don't know why you have two. Weird...

don't worry about it while i was trying to figure out how to get the tanks to work I screwed something up and i tried to reinstall the game after i uninstalled it and now it gets to the 57% and then it stops dead in in tracks and wont go any further. so now I am going to either get it to work or end up trashing the cd.

Delete the game first. Trying to reinstall over top of the game doesn't work well. Go into my computer then add/remove, then install/unistall, then scroll down until you see FighterSquadron, highlight it and click on remove. Then you can do a regular installation.

hey sunray your advise was good but when i tried to reinstall it (before your advise) it said you may not be able to remove the game and the only way to get out of it was to go ahead so i totally screwed it up and can't remove it(unless i smash the computer...................tempting........................)

Cuda....What can I say?
1. Right click on my computer
2. Choose the Explore option
3. Click on C:
4. Click on Program Files
5. You will see a folder called: "Fighter Squadron"
6. Right click on Fighter Squadron
7. Choose the Delete option
8. Now Fighter Squadron is deleted, well it's in the Trash. Go empty the trash and SDOE is gone.
9. Now you should be able to install SDOE again.
10. Next time you download a file, you should read the readme. Try installing the downloaded file into a Temp folder. You should see which folder the files use. Now you can copy the folders into the correct folder.
11. Good Luck.
