I have looked at all the beautiful screen shots of night missions but the ground is alway black for me and the sky is blue still in night missions.

So I had the base install
sdoe
fs1.5
pp6
nations v2

I tried MH's beta 5
I got night sky but all the overhead clouds like in Rienland winter 2nd mission (overcast sky) doesnt show up now I just get a few fluffy clouds the sky is gray though and night missions work but I do love the solid mass of clouds in the sky above. And I have heard that MH's beta 5 is not compat. with online play

I tried the new beta patch 1.2.5.4 but I loose forcefeed back and throtle. Which I need force feedback as much as I need graphics. So that is a no go.

I have seen sunsets etc what do I need to do to get sky textures, nightmissions etc.

1. Night sky only works with Beta's
2. Yes the overcast don't work with Beta's
3. 'How to create?'
3.a) Create a mission using dovernight-terrain.
3.b) open the newly created missions with 'notepad'
3.c) insert after 'msnWindDirection' the following statement...

...ity 0 msnWindDirection 0 msnFogColor 44 44 87 msnClearColor 44 44 58 )....

Save the new mission and fire up SDOE using the Beta

ps: the numbers are colors for RGB (red-green-blue)

cheers
