It appears my Media folder is getting more and more cluttered with every release. I even have someone's "My Documents" folder in there now!

Ok, how about the aircraft folder? These items _override_ items in the .par files right? Does that mean than I can delete them all because I have PP6.1?

If so, that will help clean up a lot of room!

Don't delete the aircraft folders, but if the plane is in planepack 6 and 6.1, you should be able to delete all of the files in the folder for that aircraft- textures, sm files, etc. Keep the empty folders for textures and sounds in the aircraft folder though. You may want to add some stuff later to these.

Ok, but if I won't be adding those (I won't typically) I should be OK right?

Maury,

You are correct, the aircraft folder is added to make it convenient to add textures and sounds to the planepack. However, with the planepack everything you need is in the parfiles to fly the planes and the aircraft folder is not required.

This is also true if you are satisfied with the vehicles list included with the pack.
