I'm considering purchasing a new Joystick or possibly Stick/Throttle.

Which one/one's do you like for FS that also support Thrustmaster Rudder Pedals? Why do you like this particular joystick

Thanks in advance.

Hi Torque,

How will your rudder pedals be connected; gameport or USB? SDOE only supports one game controller, but this can be a rudder pedals/throttle/joystick combination if it is combined as one controller (as a gameport) as far as Windows is concerned. If you have USB gear they may be seen as separate controllers and may not work together in SDOE, but will be fine for newer sims such as CFS2, B17, IL-2 etc that do support multiple controllers.

For example I can mix my USB MSFF2 stick with gameport CH Pro rudder pedals in CFS no problem, but SDOE doesn't see the rudder pedals.

It's a minefield

JG3_Jetlag,

Currently I use my Thrustmaster Pedals to
non USB game port and have my USB plugged to 7 port hub where I connect my current joystisk and all works fine.

What I was wondering about was if someone had a preference of joysticks or stick throttle combo for FS and would work for my non USB rudder setup.

Thanks again

I think I'm the only guy here using one, but I use a Cyborg 3D Digital by Saitek...All I can say is, "IT IS ONE SWEET STICK!!! It's got 20 programable buttons, uses USB, 8-way hat (that can be programmed as well), smooth throttle (with an EZ-grip handle), firm stick movement, & the kicker is that the handle twists to provide rudder control, no need for cumbersome pedals. I tried Gravis, & the MS Sidewinder 3D, the both seemed like cheap toys by comparison...

hope this helps...

It doesn't hav as many buttons, but the Thrustmaster Top Gun Afterburner is one sweet stick. You'd have to write Thrustmaster and ask if your pedals will work.
