I want to upgrade my Dx6 to 8 but I don't know if it will be compatible with my computer or FS. I have NVIDIA TNT2 M64 4xAGP0. If Dx8 won't work, then where can I get Dx7?

Dx8.0 is fine for me (GeForce2). I have run SDOE with 6, 7 and 8 with no problems. If your unsure, Dx7a is probably your best bet. Dx8 can't be uninstalled easily and SDOE won't be improved by it any features in it as far as I am aware (unless Bryan does wonders with the new patch )

I too have used all the direct x versions with my 3DFX voodoo 3 2000 and 3000 cards with no problems. I have heard it very hard to remove too.
