Author Topic:   directx8 bmr Cadet posted 01-31- 07:06 PM                I am running a K62-500 with 192mb pc100 ram and a Voodoo44500agp video card with latest {directx8}compatible drivers. I am using Directx 7.a. SDOE runs well with this setup. Any opinions about an upgrade to dx8. My usual opinion is if it aint broke don't fix it. For my only I see one thing, Fighter Squadron,OpenPlane Studio and others Programs crash and have many problems with a many Video Cards example NVidea,Hercules and so on I try all things and OpenPlane Studio canīt Work "crash" FS also For my only one 3DBlaster. Itīs my exeperience. Yes I now another chip Video Cards works in a Perfection,but with a good price...! I have a Sidewinder Precision2 and with a Directx8 (not the last release 8a)I have nice more soft manobrable stick. Ok Goods for all.
