Just got a new system. Sound card doesnt gave a game port. Not a prblem, Sidwinder Pro can plug into a USB port right? (Well it can...) Here is the problem. The sytem says it is there, the profiler says it isnt. The axis' and the hat buttons work as do the primary and secondary buttons. None of the other buttons wotk though....

Did you scroll down the list of profilers? There is a separate one for USB.

you need to uninstall the joystick and unplug it, then install the software and intal the USB option, then restart the PC, after that you plugin the joystick and Win instals it and you can use it. USB devices should always be installed unpluged.
