I just noticed that my Yak's gunsite has moved up...I mean the ENTIRE mechanism and the reticle. Has anyone else noticed this problem?

Diego,

By any chance did you recently download my engine damage package? If you did this may be a problem which should be corrected by downloading the update/fix to that package.
Just check the general section for the tread on the engine damage update/fix. Another thing you can try is to rename the yak directory and see if the gunsight is still wrong. If it is still wrong try deleting the sdoecache.tex and sdoecache.dir files.

Let me know if you get this all set.

Why would I check my Yak? Did you lose one?
Sorry, I couldn't resist. I'll check it right now. Seems to be ok. I only did a couple training runs though.

Condor,
Okay, I've done everything you've recommended including the feeding of some stray yaks and I still get that "floating gunsight of death". Is it possible that the SM in the update zip is still the same?

Hi Diego,

I just double checked again and nope, the sm file for the yak is the version from pp6.0

I will keep looking into this and let you know if I find anything.

If you are using plane pack 6, try renaming your aircraft directory to something else entirely like myaircraft.

Renaming my Aircraft folder solved the problem temporarily...redownloading the Yak solved it permanently. Thanks for your quick response customer support

Customer? Oh, yeah. Send us all a check made out to cash. Don't bother with an amount, we can fill that in. Or a nice Yak wool sweater. I take an XXL. hahahahahaha
