I am having problems with Mission Editor, when I open up a new mission in Dover, Africa, Rhineland or their varients Snowy Dover, dovernight rhinelandwinter, I get instead of a place name an extract from a squadron profile, this is for 1 or 2 places only. When the mission is saved and then loaded I get a CTD before the loader screen even appears. When I open up the mission file in wordpad the offending squadron profile is there instead of a place name. This also occurs if I modify an existing mission and save it with a changed title but not if I save it with the name unchanged. I also changed the names.ppf to namesx.ppf to see if that was the prob but it still happens.
Any suggestions.

It strikes me as a corrupt file. Have you done a scandisk? Scandisk is your friend. Otherwise try a re-install of the Editor. I'd delete it all first though.

I have two installs of SDOE and they both behave exactly the same, scandisk and virus scan produced no errors.
