I've just spent the past 6 hrs. trying to get this game to work. I've downloaded all the latest patches, played with cache size, screen resolution, even checked the joystick software(wingman extreme). I have a Dell 533 with a GForce 256 graphics card (with latest driver upgrades). All I've been able to do is taxi a P-51 about 50' before it locks. I was having similar probs. with Janes WWII Fighters but I usually got 10 mins. of flight out of that before it locked. Anyone out there have a clue as to what's going on?

Sounds like a driver or hot card prob, open up your pc and point a fan at the gforce, if it does not lock or lasts longer before it does thats the prob, if not post which driver version you are running here. Also how much ram are you using, which directx version etc ? the answers to all these questions will help.

You also might want to do a "search" on this board. There has been a lot of discussion on what GForce settings are needed by SDOE.
