I tried to play online last night, but when I clicked on 'Network' from the main menu in SDOE, I didn't have any choices (Internet, IPX, TCP/IP) listed in the window under "Choose a Connection Type". I don't know how long my game has been like this since I haven't played online in ages. Any ideas on what may have caused this and how do I fix it? Thanks, G-manIP: Logged |

Did you run your mouse cursor over the list? There's a drawing bug that sometimes makes the list look empty. The entries are redrawn when the cursor goes over it.Have you messed with your SDOE directory lately? Your symptoms might come up if there are problems with the anet2.dll or the dlls in the Anet directory. IP: Logged |

This is weird (usual for me!). I don't have an anet directory (should this be a directory within the Fighter Squadron directory?). When I use the "find" feature on Windows Explorer, it is able to locate an "anet2.dll" file. It shows the file as being located within the Fighter Squadron directory. But when I look through that directory, I don't find the file anywhere. Lately, I've downloaded quite a few add-on's to the game like PP6, Nations, Pacific Terrain, Tundra, etc.... but I haven't intentionally modified the Fighter Directory or its sub-directories. In Windows Explorer, make sure you have it set to show all files. (I hate the default that hides files and extensions.) View|Folder Options|View tab. There's a group of radio buttons under the heading "Hidden files." Make sure it's set to "Show all files."That doesn't explain your Anet directory being gone. I believe that you can simply copy that directory from the CD into your Fighter Squadron directory. IP: Logged |

Thanks for all the help, Mighty. I ended up installing SDOE from the CD to a temp directory and then copying the ANet folder and its contents to my active FS directory. That solved the problem. I'm still not sure where my original ANet folder went, but oh well. Thanks again, G-manIP: Logged |
