Itīs not possible for me to register ac3d without a creditcard. A few minutes ago, I get a negative email from the ac3d guy Andy!
:-(((
The bad point is,that i canīt do much more for the Ju52 without ac3d.
The free 3D soft anim8or (i used to build the Ju) CTD if i will set a texture to the plane.
I canīt work so exactly like i need it.
I need a more powerfull software like ac3d to go on working at the Ju52/3M.

So i will put a alpha version of the Ju52 to the net in the next few days.
Maybe someone will work on ...

There is a freeware 3D program that will import & export 3ds format files. This would allow to to continue work.

go to www.blender.nl and downlosd the 2.04 version.

You'll never figure the interface out without going through this tutorial http://www.blender.nl/showitem.php?id=3

There are other tutorials at the blender website covering this program. In addition, there are LOTS of other tutorials on the web. Type blender3d into a search engine and you'll get a list.

There is a Windows and Linux version available.

AH thats crappy. I can't belive that he only likes customers that are conveint to him.

So much for the customer.

Check out blender it looked cool but I don't think it works well with voodoo cards so i never reallly tried it much.

I can't see ac3d being on ebay as its a download only product. Not a boxed one.

To be fair to Andy, if you process a money order at a UK Bank you get charged big-time! Especially if it's not in UK money.

he Ģ25 you pay, becomes half that, with the bank taking it's 'handling fee'

It sounds harsh, but banks screw small business' when it comes to transactions. Andy is a one man operation, so I can understand his problems.

Best bet is to do what I did....I got someone else with a card to register it for me! I gave them the money, they did the registering. Job done!
