It's easy to use in AC3D, you just set the texture properties to tile, and set the repeats. What I would like to know, and which no-one has really looked at, is whether this can be used in game. I have never got it to work.
I need to do the same thing to my B17 interior. Even 256 long looks revolting when stretched B17 size. I can imagine the problem stretching a texture Zeppelin size!
The only thing I can suggest is to do what I am doing.
Instead of tiling the texture, I have taken a leaf out of the terrain book.
Take one texture, cut you large model into slices, texture each slice with the same texture, and then merge the slices back into a complete model. I'll know very soon if it works!!!!!
