It installed but I never could get it to run. So, I am going to rebuild it as a dual boot machine....

It seemed to run ok, not as smooth as win98. I wouldn't reccomend it for online play it made me lag online.

two options here

1: file copy the files from a successful win98 install onto your win2k machine

2: there is a win98 compatibility program on the win2k cd to fool install programs into thinking they are running on win98. Havent tried this way yet.

I managed to get it to run from Win2000 as long as it was already installed on my WinMe partition (FAT32). I tried copying it over but it wouldn't run. Perhaps because of NTFS? It also would freeze for seconds upon a time and then resume, perhaps I should try with a CD in the drive. Eventually it froze Win2000 solid - reset switch! Other than that it runs okay, but not as fast as under WinMe.

WinMe (FAT32)/Win2000(NTFS) dual-boot both with DirectX 8
