Topic: I-16 changing skins wonīt work!

I want to try to change the skins,but nothing happens. If i remember right the I16 comes with the contents pack1.1.
maybe the folder or tif names arnīt right.
In the moment the files named to:
I16 to the folder
and
I16fuse and I16wings for the skins.Maybe anyone can help. Rendsburger IP: Logged |

Forgive the obvious question.
Are the tif files that you're inserting named I16Fuse and I16Wings also? Some of the skins for the I16 were named Fuse and Wings before the Packed up version came out and I'm sure were not renamed to reflect the change.IP: Logged |

Does it make a difference if the "f" and "w" in Fuse and Wings are capitalized? I just checked and its the only difference between mine and yours. One other thing, the tif files should be in a file named texture within the I16 folder.IP: Logged |

The tiffis are in the\Fighter Squadron\Media\aircraft\I16\textures folder.

For the latest I-16, the tif files need to be named Wings.tif and Fuse.tifIm afraid however, for the latest released I-16, that winter skin is outdated. (The maping has ben updated and thus the skin will not work) There is an updated winter skin that will work for the latest version. There must something be wrong at fshangar.
The winter skin isnīt a white one,is a green with text of both sides of the mainbody.But it works!

Iīve testet natīs winter skin after renaming.The tex is at a wrong place. Did you know another place (not fshangar) to get one, or if you have one that works, maybe you can send it to: Santarossa@web.deRendsburger IP: Logged |

The problem with the I16 skin is the name of the files.The file named I16Fuse.tif must be changed to Fuse.tif and I16Wings.tif must be changed to Wings.tif. This will work for the White skin from FSHanger, however Nats winter skin will not map correctly, even if renamed. I havn't tried it with the I8Fuse.tif and the I8Wings.tif, but I know it works for the white skin from FSHanger. Hope that helps ------------------
