Now i become a little friend, step by step, with Openplane.
I have a question. How can i edit in a 3D software the main body of a plane.
Example: the main body of the ju88. If i select it and want to export the LOD as an .obj file, the complet plane is exported.
How can i change this?
Oh,one question more: If i want to add a third engine, what have i to do,that this engine will works too.

Rendsburger and my little friend OP ;-)

oh i have forgotten my last question ;-)

I have read sv OP tutorial how to add the right texture id (made with ac3d)to the plane. But without ac3d what can i do to set the texure id with an other soft.

With ac3d you can slide the shinines slider (wich works for the tex id) from 0 to 10?100?

In my soft i can set the shinines slider between 0,00- 1,00.

Any tips???

The slider is just changing the texture ID and has no effect on 'shininess' for the plane when exported.

If you need to change the texture index, you can always edit the LOD itself in Notepad or similar. There is another section in SV's tutorials , 'anatomy of a LOD' and this shows you what to look for, and what the values mean. You will still need to map the texture in a 3d program, but the LOD stuff is still worth a read.

What 3D program are you planning to use?

For learning the basics, AC3D is a good package for the price! Take a look at the new PBY model screenshots and my B17 update. Both are done entirely in AC3D. The level of support and knowledge is good should you ever need help. I have got hold of a copy of Max, but don't have the skills to really make that work well yet!
