I got my MX card last night and was seeing what games I could get it to work with. So after SoF and HL let me down, I fired up SDOE at 1024x768 and ran my Wimpy test mission (4 Wimpies, 2 Spits, 4 109e4's, 2 110's, a PT boat, a zepp, and a Uboat) to see what the FPS was. It was exactly the same as my SLI rig running glide, but that isn't the problem. The problem was when I zoomed in close to the wimpy and started looking it over. 3deep had done a great job getting the colors as vibrant as can be, but something else was amiss - the fore antanna had some sky pixels popping through the middle of it when I zoomed in way close. I didn't get that with the 3dfx card. I also didn't see the plane looking that jaggie at 1024x768. I know the setting were right. I am wondering if this is:

1) a SDOE nuance that suddenly started
2) a weird face problem that only exits with GeForce MX cards
or, 3) the GeForce MX is artificially running at 1024x768 and extrapolating the points between, and in this instance, got it wrong?

I gotta get some shots of this....
