unable to drop bomb?

I feel so stupid I cannot get rid of these bombs and rockets...(P38 - P51)??? the manual says "5" to select, "q" to engage (sorry my manual is in french) and "enter" or "joystick 2" to fire... but I can only manage to fire the guns. and also, "Ctrl -E" to leave the plane: nope! any suggestion? ArgonV Pilot	posted 10-11- 01:53 PM To drop a bomb: Hit 5 for bombs (or 6 Depending which loadout it is) and then hit A. Then hit ENTER to release it or Joystick button 2. To fire a rocket: Hit 4 and then hit A. If you want to fire rockets one at a time hit 7. Then hit ENTER or Joystick button 2. Whirlwind Pilot	posted 10-11- 02:00 PM I know they have changed the eject key (read the readme.txt for the patch) and that the bomb is usually 6. To make sure what the number is that you need for a particular plane, hit alt-W which will display your ammo cound and other loadout information. At this point, you hit number keys to see what weapons light up. IP: Logged

I did not though it was a azerty-querty inversion since the command page in the manual actually shows an azerty keybord...
