Flew a mission last night, and on attempting take off, ended up flying backwards , off the runway , through a hedge, into a river!( TWICE!!)
Has this occured to any one before??

oh yes!!!

I have ended up balanced on the nose, upside down, on top of hangars, in hedges, etc. etc.

For real takeoff laughs, take one F4U, with torque enables, add a crosswind, and choose a narrow runway with lots of buildings....

ground handling is a tricky business!

Thanks for reply , tailgunner. However, I should clarify, that my direction of travel was in reverse!( ie moving tailfirst!!) it was not a case of driving all over the place, due to torque or loss of control.
