Topic: Problems with fw190a2 skins (from fs hangar)

most of the downloaded fw190a2 skins donīt work.
Examples:
JG54 FW190a2 skin from Marcus Posis.
Only the half of the plane skin shows correct.The nose is blue on the top,the wings have different colours...
Or:
One of the desert skins for the fw changed nothings,it wil not work.
The "Emil Bitsch" skin for example works good.If needed i have renamed the tifs to fw190a2.tif . I have lot of skins for different planes with no probs,but with the 190s if have some trouble.

You could try using Ground Crew if you haven't already. Ground Crew does not work with all skins immediately remember.IP: Logged |

The original FW190 in the game had incorrect texture mapping. I made the skins to work around it. I believe you now have the FW190 from the planepack which has the correct texture mapping. This is why the skin I made does not work anymore.IP: Logged |

I have the ground crew,but not installed jet.
I have the last plainpack with patch installed (FW190A3,A4,A8,D9). So what should i do.If i rename it at fw190a2 it changed the FW190A4 skin.Is it correct? It works with the "Emil Bitch" skin,and maybe with others(i havnīt download it all).
But i want to have the JG54 skin,it looks so great.Do you have more Tips?Rendsburger IP: Logged |
