I just tried to install two skins from Pachy's web page (http://perso.club-internet.fr/gledimet/).

These are the first skins I've tried to install. I used the French Lancaster skin and the skin for the JU 88 G7B. Once installed -- I followed the instructions in the readme files -- the JU skin showed up fine, but it only showed up after I re-started the game twice. The Lancaster skin has yet to show up.

Do I need to clear my texture cache? How do I do that?

Another question. The outside views seem a bit erratic. For one, how do you change the distance from the plane in the Chase/F3 view? IT IS TOO FAR AWAY. I can barely see my plane, especially small planes. I have Control 2000 and it doesn't really let me get the view closer -- it has an option to change the external view mode distance, but that doesn't seem to do anything with F3.

As for F2, the external view, sometimes it gets "locked" in place, as if it is glued in one position...it doesn't move and shift about as the plane moves. This seems to happen erratically.
