JG18_MONGO Cadet	posted 09-27- 07:42 AM Howdy fellow flight sim addict,I have been involved in an on-line Squadron (JASTA 18) for over 3 years.As of the end of this month,the 2 arenas that we fly in(and must say dominate)are pulling the plug.They(SIMGUILDS FLYING CIRCUS/BATTLE OF BRITIAN) are very simple compared to most SIMS but a heck of alot of fun.We have a fairly large presence in RB3D and are involved in many large scale organized battles based on historic fact.SDOE caught my eye the day it came out and I have been having a blast trying all the add-ons from your site.My question is,if I can get the rest of my guys interested enough do you know of any clubs or squads that fly on a daily /weekly basis and have or would like to set up an arena for the type of events mentioned above.We are just a bunch of fun lovin sim-junkies that love the heat of battle.If you could send me any info you might have that might help me in my search for a new arena it would be of great service.I have made MANY friends in this Squad & arenas and would hate to see it die due too not having an arena large enough to hold us.And I think you would agree that making the FIGHTER SQUADRON SDOE community larger is a good thing. Two more quick questions: 1: Is it possible to set up your own server? 2:Is there any problem compliling a CD with all the add-ons on your site to distribute among my squad mates? Archer Pilot	posted 09-27- 08:06 PM MONGO Like you, our squad (INFERNO ^I^ F22 Raptor Squad) was looking for a new SIM to come to. We are tired of the "CHEAT" infested world of Novalogic. Unfortunately FS is not ready for squad play yet. There is no ground game (because of initial program design), so all that can be done is dogfighting. Hopefully when the program designers are finished with their current progect they will (and it looks promising) return to add the needed changes for a "kick ass" online sim! If you look back a ways in the posts you will find many topics addressing this "ground bug" problem. You can not host matches. The only way to play online is through the servers from Activision. IMHO trying to get someone to put out a CD with the new Nations, Plane packs, etc. will not happen. Know one has the time or resources to handle this (i do not believe), the down load seems to be the most economical & convient way for everyone. Good Flying! ------------------ Archer ^I^ IP: Logged
