Just bought SDOE. When i select missions, by default it lets me play the "Screaming Demons" group only, with p-51 and p-38.
I tried changing the Squadron (bomber/German) but when I go back to Mission, it states "Screaming Demon".
How am i able to play the game missions with different aircraft, besides designing my own?

I may be wrong, but this is how I remember it......

When you set up the pilot, you give him a nationality. When you go back into the missions section, it should give you a drop-down of the squadrons you can fly. These SHOULD be the ones which match the nationality of your currently selected pilot.

The squadron choice in the main menu is just for atmosphere. It doesn't have anything to do with the missions themselves.

As tailgunner said, your pilot's nationality determines what nationality of squadron(s) are presented to you in the mission screen. The drop-down box is in the upper right. If a particular mission only has one squadron for your pilot's nationality then it'll only have one choice.
