I've noticed that some ground targets have a ripple effect, houses, coast, ships etc...
Is this a graphic card issue or does it happen with others.

Just a small problem but anoying as I've just bought a voodoo5 3dfx card and I want to get the best from SDOE.

You might want to do a key word search on voodoo5. Several people have had problems with it and SDOE and there have been a lot of posts on the topic.
