I updated my V.Drivers to the latest NVidia. Now OPS doesn't work right. I can load objects that have no "Object Base" like a pilot, but when I try to load a Plane It crashes back to desk top.

So I changed to the original "Standard (VGA)" drivers, then reloaded the old drivers. This did not help. So I reinstalled DirectX 7.0a, no help

Back to original drivers and tried older drivers, finally got one that will let me use OPS, but I can't get into the video properties window, I get this error

"RUNDLL32 caused an exception 01H in module KERNEL32.DLL at 017f:bff713fd."

All I want to do is get back to the last drivers I was using. Any ideas on what is going on?

I don't know if this will help, probably more of a explanation,
Did you remove all the previous installed Nvidia drivers from the add/remove section of your control panel before you did the install of the NEW drivers? If not you will have likely statements in your registry that will link to over written information not there anymore. The Rundll is a program that retrieves DLLs (libraries) like Kernal32.DLL If the information is not pointing to the right address in that library you will get an error were it’s looking for it.
Here is more info on Rundll http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q164/7/87.asp
If this is the problem then just reload the NEW drivers and remove them through the add/remove to the stock VGA drivers, and reinstall your boxed set.
You probably did this to begin with anyhow, just trying to help. I’ll shut up now

Raider also try going into the Microsoft System infomation program (this is in Accessories/System tools), within the program look under hardware and then display and select advanced infomation. It will list all the display driver files loaded. Print this out and then using the file find function track them down, if your brave you should delete them and when you reboot you can reload the drivers that worked.

This procedure clears problems caused by driver files of different releases being mixed together and causing errors.

Good luck

Von, Commando, Thank you guys very much. I will try to remove the drivers first, if that does not work I will try and be brave and remove them by hand.

This is really slowing down my Pony progress. Thanks for the help. I'll keep you posted.
