What's the difference the regular P-38J and the P-38 MOD in www.fshangar.com?

I would have done a search in the forum but for some reason, the search function went bonkers when I tried searching under P-38.

The P-38J came with the game. The Mod is a retextured version which takes hi-res skins designed for it. It was done by one of our genius artists, DanW who still checks in occasionally when he is not out making money.

Hmmm...so the only difference is the texturing? No diff's in flight characteristics, etc.?

is it supposed to come with sm files etc i cant find them. i only get the textures
