Okay, I know that certain files dictate what 'shape' a plane has and what its 'paintjob' is - however, which files in the plane's folder dictate how the plane flies, what payload it can carry, how the AI should fly it, etc.?Thanks in advance, Flash IP: Logged |

how the plane flies This is contained in the .sm file along with the aircraft's geometry information and some other things.what payload it can carry The .sm file contains the various guns, hardpoints, and bomb-bays on an aircraft. The loadout.ppf file tells the game engine what kind of ammo and weapons to put on them. how the AI should fly it The ai flies the aircraft based upon the aircrafts flight modelling in the .sm file. This is pretty much all within the game engine. However the ai will tend to a strategy as dictated in a mission file. Mission files can tell the ai to perform CAP, ground attack, bombing, etc on certain legs of the mission, and specify skill levels, agressiveness, etc.
