how do I move objects around?

I assume you mean in OPS? Click on the little cursor arrow. It will bring up a drop-down box. Pick the little yellow wing-looking thing (the "part tool"). Then click on the little four-way arrow picture (the "move tool").

Now click on a part in the 3D window. You can drag and drop it with your mouse or use the arrow keys on the keyboard to move it. Click on the little curved arrow ("rotate tool") to activate the rotation feature.
