the p-47 is still crashing the game to desk-
top, but I found a folder for it in the
aircraft folder next to the one that says
airfoils...I sure didnt put it there.I
noticed none of the other planes from the
plane pack are there. where should it be.also
the Zero is listed under Germany;should it be
there? I may as well get some more dumb questions out of the way:what folder should
i download aircraft i find to-seems to be
conflicting instructions,since I havent been
able to fly one yet. ive looked at the posts
that seem to address this kind of thing, but
havent found them too descriptive.I spent the
last 4 yrs messing with janes fighters anthology series of sims and making mods etc
to them-this is completely different. I looked in the start-up ppf file, but didnt
see anything about countries. if I knew what
files to look in and which ones to move, it
would sure help. thanx again...Carl

The P47d folder goes in the Media\aircraft directory. The P-47 folder should contain the folders sounds and textures and the files ending with .sm and a loadout.ppf file. The folder textures contains a folder called p47d_gauge. The zip SHOULD create these folders and place the correct files in them if you extract it with the 'Use folder names' option enabled (using winzip) The folder Airfoils belongs in the Media\aircraft directory. To change the Zero to be in the Japan country, open a file the the Media\aircraft\A6M5 directory called loadout.ppf Find the line that says strGermany and change it to strJapan.

If the P-47d STILL crashes to the desktop I would suggest you look in the Media\Training\P47d folder and check the mission files.
