im amazed at some of the planes in the contest pack, but the p-47 just doesnt fly
(nothing happens when I click on fly), as
well as the p-80 (which has p51 tech info).
also, the Hurricane caused a crash to win.
this may be because I tried to dnld an individual hurricane earlier (before I found
you guys) and it was doing it also. regarding
that, what do I need to do to dwnld individua
planes to stop that.Oh yeah, I found the manual.....cant believe I didnt see it sooner. much thanx (and the work on these
projects is really amazing). one more thing..
im getting alot of sound interference and
noise. any way to minimize that?

Try going into "Training" and flying one of the P-47 or P-80 missions there. I don't think those planes had "Hangar" missions.

If you have an "early" Hurricane, you may not have the correct "startup.ppf" file in your Media folder. If you have a folder for the Hurricane (hurrmki I think it's called) in your Media/Aircraft folder, try moving that folder completely out of the game folder and see what happens. You may be overriding the one in the Contest Pack itself, which you can't see because it's in a dataXX.par file.

Good luck...
