My computer is still doing the multicolored terrain/crash and reboot thing. I severely need some help. MH, do you know of any problems FS may have with some types of hardware? If so, could you let me know?
Thanks. I'm going to post a screenshot of what is going wrong with my FS.

Have you updated your drivers and checked the cooling on your video card? Next time you get those symptoms, open the case on your PC and see how hot the video card heatsink is. If it's too hot to touch, you need more cooling in your case.

der boom - what drivers (version specific) did you download? I also have a Voodoo 3 3000... I just downloaded the 1.3.05 drivers and they didn't work... I'm going to get 1.2.00 right now.
MH - my box is sitting right next to the air conditioning vent in my room, and I don't think heating is a problem. Tomorrow, I'll open it up and see how hot the heat sink is though.
Thanks

I'm using a V3 2000, with the latest drivers installed, the latest drivers are Version 1.04.07 beta I have no problem with these, but then, I never had any problems.

~Nat~

V3 o/c to 173mhz with additional cooling installed. (seems to be the max for the V3 2000, even if I cool it more, it wont clock higher than 173mhz, but I believe the 3000 does.
