I recently downloaded the plane pack and contest downloads. When I try to run a practice session with any of the corsairs, it ends the game. Help!

if you're refering to traing missions. then i get the same with some of them. look at the mission in the editor and make sure you have every thing in the missions, ground units etc. muck about with it save it and then try it. worked for me.

Thanks Darthrob. Unfortunately, I am a newbie. Can you run me through the exact procedures? Thanks.

well theres no guarantee this'll work but it should. open the mission ed. select the troublesome mission. look at the properties of all ground units. Oh before i go any further, if it gets to the loading screen where does it go off. (aircraft, ground units etc).as i was saying before i rudely interrupted myself. right click on the unit, hit properties. on the dropdown menu select the ground unit. mess about with this then save to the relevant folder. let me know how you get on and if you have any further trouble just say. this wee guide isn't very detailed so you may still have problems. which missions are going off btw. I'm all ears.

Do the hangar missions work? That's the first thing to check. If they don't, it's probably an airfoil problem. If they do, it's most likely a problem with the mission itself.

If the mission has Zeros as the enemy fighters, check to make sure the squadron is "German," as the Zero has not been actually associated to the new Japanese squadrons yet.

You may be able to just click on the units in the mission using the mission editor, view their properties, close the units, and save the mission again. Sometimes an old mission won't work with a new version of the plane.

When you say contest downloads are you reffering to the Contest Pack 1.1 or just a bunch of contest planes zipped up ?
