Thats the message I get when I try to create a game online from any server.Any ideas?

Have you ever been able to create a game? If so, has anything changed since then? Have you rebooted and tried again? How long have you had this problem? Has anyone else seen it occasionally?There are three things that will pop up that message. 1) SDOE thinks it's already running in a network session. This is a "should not occur" situation, so I don't think that's likely. 2) The create session call to ActiveNet came back with an error. Unfortunately, I don't save off or display the error return code we get back from ActiveNet. 3) We time out before the session was created. I have a 10-second timeout before we give up. Is that how long it pauses before you see that message? If so, it could just be the servers being slow. IP: Logged |

MightyYes, I create games alot. I have rebooted and tried again. I just experienced it today for the first time. I got the message back the second I clicked the button. Thanks for any help. PR IP: Logged |

Well, there have been 53 games played in the last 24hrs on Cal12, so it appears the servers are working.I guess you're able to get into the lobbies? IP: Logged |

MichaelYep, I can get into the lobbies fine, I then go to create a game and the next screen comes up where you name the game etc. Then when I click next, I get the "Unable to create game" error message. It's never happened to me before and I've hosted hundreds of games. It's extra frustrating with the SDOE WAR going on right now. I tried re-installing SDOE, but no joy.  HELP!!!!! PR IP: Logged |

With nothing to go on, I look in the ini file to check some settings. I noticed that under netgame name, ther was nothing, and also under pilotname, there was nothing. Weird I thought, as I had both entered while online, and I saw both in the window. I entered in a game name anyway, and also a pilot name. I tried to create a game again online, and BINGO!
