The game freezes soon after the start up movie it crashes the computer at the same time.
I have a banshee voodoo card, PII 350 192 ram

Have added patches from this site

Are you using the latest banshee drivers ? When you say freeze just after start are you reffering to just after you get inside a mission or just upon loading the main screen ? Also did you try switching to a different renderer (glide, direct3d) to see if it made any difference ?

Just after the game starts. I get a chance to select 1 of the options then it freezes. I have the latest drivers loaded and have tried D3D & glide

It sounds like the program is crashing before you ever get into the simulation. Is that correct?

When you refer to setting "options", what exactly are you referring to? Settings in the Options screen, or something else.

Please make one (just one for this test) more try and then open the error.log file you'll find in the media folder. If you can post the last 6 lines of text here, it might help shed some light on the problem.

Before you start messin' with the Banshee drivers, thought you'd like to know that mine crashes if I forget to unload GUARD DOG from the system tray. It may be that there's a conflicting application running from the system tray .... other than Guard Dog. You may want to check that out.
