It would go in the aircraft folder for whichever plane it is for. Like in the a36a folder there would be a loadout.ppf. There wold be a different loadout.ppf, say in the F4u4 folder and so on. Some plane folders do not have this file as the loadout has not been modified. Hope this helps. ------------------ silas Demon's Runway Fortes fortuna adiuvat IP: Logged |

Complex question. Each airplane has its own loadout.ppf file, located in the media/aircraft/(specific plane) folder. If you look at one, you'll see how they should be constructed. However, if you have installed all the patches and planepacks, most of your planes are "submerged" in a dataXX.par file. In that case, if you want to change the loadout file, you must create a folder for the airplane in the aircraft directory, i.e. media/aircraft/Mig15, and then put your new loadout.ppf file in there. That will "override" the existing loadout in the parfile. ------------------ --jedi-- IP: Logged |

So....if I only have the 1.5 update installed, and we're talking the p51...would the loadout file be located as follows:c:\program files\fighter squadron\media\p-51d\loadout.ppf ??????????????????????????????????

Yep thats it, except the name of the p51 folder is "p51d" with no hyphen. Just be aware that making changes to the loadout.ppf file may create mismatches if you try to play online... ------------------ --jedi-- IP: Logged |
