Ever since installing the 1.5 patch, the game locks up my computer whenever I try to end the mission. I tried reinstalling, and I installed the recommended updates in the recommended order. I saw another person post here with the same problem, but no one replied to the poor guy. I'm hoping to have better luck. Any ideas?Win95 (OSR 2), 300mhz PII, 128 MB RAM, Voodoo 3 It runs great without the patch, but I would really like to have the improved flight model. Can anyone help? IP: Logged |

I think some people did answer that guy post. It may be in the 'general' section. When does it crash , when you press escape or enter. check the inp file and see what is assigned to the end mission keys. I ain't much help am I.IP: Logged |

It could be the Voodoo, but I think you installed the wrong patch. Make sure to use the official patch 1.5 and not one of the beta-patches. LK IP: Logged |

It crashes when I hit Escape. I checked the keyboard file and it appears OK. I downloaded the patch from Parsoft's site, so it is the latest patch. IP: Logged |

Are you sure it crashes and not just pauses. Try hitting esc again and seeing what happends. Also try hitting enter. If you have a voodoo card then your screen is probably off center also which will mean that when you hit esc the exit dialog will not be visible.IP: Logged |

To be sure, look at the main menu screen and please tell me if there is a number (down left I think) or not, and if what number.LK IP: Logged |

Ah, you are correct, General...the screen was merely off-center so I could not see the end mission dialogue...it is working fine. Thanks! What's up with that off-center stuff? Is there a fix for that? IP: Logged |

There are two fixes. Use direct3d and the other one is to hit the + and - keys repeatedly until it resizes your screen to fit correctly I use D3d due to this bug.IP: Logged |
